Dorothy Reaves Senior String Competition:
Applications for the 2012 Dorothy Reaves Senior String Competition will be accepted though March 4th, 2012. The public audition/recital will be Wed. March 21, 2012, 7 pm at the Atrium in Gainesville. Application forms and related information about the $350 scholarship, audition, and the Foundation for the Promotion Music recital program on Sunday, April 22nd at which the winner will perform, can be downloaded below.

Betsy Schnell Youth Award in Music:
Auditions for the 31st annual Betsy Schnell Youth Awards in Music will be held Saturday, April 14th, 2012.

The competition is open to students who are enrolled in schools of Alachua and contiguous counties.

Winners will receive a monetary prize and opportunity to perform at the Foundation for Promotion of Music Annual Meeting, April 22, 2012.
